Please read the following information carefully. By enrolling your child at Dudes and Divas Nursery School you agree to these terms and conditions.

Payment terms

For our current fee structure, please contact the school office directly. We are happy to discuss the best option for your family and your child’s needs.

  • School fees are payable monthly in advance, on or before the 1st working day of each month.
  • Fees are payable over 12 months of the year and are due regardless of attendance, illness, holidays or public holidays.
  • Late or non-payment of fees may result in your child being suspended from the school until the account is brought up to date.
  • One calendar month’s written notice (from the 1st to the last day of a month) is required when a child leaves the school.
  • No refunds are given for days missed due to illness, holidays or other absences.

School hours & attendance

Standard hours:
Full day: 06:00 – 18:00
Half day: 06:00 – 14:00
Aftercare: 13:00 – 18:00

  • Parents are requested to drop off and collect children within the agreed hours.
  • Please inform the school if your child will be absent.
  • Regular attendance helps your child settle and benefit fully from the programme.
  • Children must be signed in and out daily by a responsible adult.

Illness & medication

  • Children who are unwell or have a contagious illness must please be kept at home.
  • If your child develops a fever, rash, vomiting or diarrhoea at school, you will be contacted to fetch them.
  • Only medication with clear written instructions from a parent or doctor will be administered.
  • Please notify the school of any allergies, chronic conditions or special medical needs.
  • In the case of an emergency, we will seek medical assistance and contact you as soon as possible.

By enrolling your child, you give consent that in an emergency, your child may be taken for medical treatment if you cannot be reached, as per your signed enrolment and indemnity forms.

What to bring

Stationery & supplies

  • Stationery as per class list.
  • Toiletries (nappies, wipes, cream) for younger children.

Clothing & personal items

  • A full set of spare clothes, clearly marked.
  • Small blanket for nap time (if applicable).
  • All items must be clearly marked with your child’s name.

General guidelines

  • Comfortable play clothes are recommended – children will get messy!
  • Please apply sunscreen in the morning and provide a hat for outdoor play.
  • No toys from home unless requested for a special activity.

General school policies

Behaviour & discipline

  • Positive discipline is used at all times; no corporal punishment is permitted.
  • Children are guided to make good choices and to respect others.
  • Parents will be informed if there are ongoing behavioural concerns.

Communication

  • We encourage open and respectful communication between parents and staff.
  • Please arrange a suitable time if you need a longer discussion with your child’s teacher.
  • Important notices will be sent home and/or shared via the agreed communication channels.

Notice period

  • One full calendar month’s written notice is required when a child leaves the school.
  • Notice must be given on or before the first of the month for the end of that month.
  • School fees remain payable during the notice month.
